Need to hire Video Production Equipment in Dublin?
In today’s digital age, video content has become a critical part of marketing and communication strategies for businesses and organizations of all sizes. Whether you are looking to create instructional videos, product demos, or marketing content, high-quality video production is key to achieving success. However, the cost of purchasing equipment like 4k cameras, lighting kits, and audio equipment can be prohibitive, especially for small businesses or individuals. That’s where hiring this equipment alongside your studio booking can be a cost-effective solution.
We can provide you with a 4k Camera:
A 4k camera is a camera that can capture video in ultra-high definition. This type of camera is capable of producing high-quality video content that looks professional and polished. However, purchasing a 4k camera can be costly, especially for those who are just starting out. Hiring a 4k camera can be a cost-effective way to produce high-quality video content and ours start from 100e per day.
One of the key benefits of hiring a 4k camera is the ability to capture footage that is visually stunning. The ultra-high definition allows for greater detail and clarity, making the footage look more professional and polished. This is particularly important for businesses or individuals who are looking to create marketing content that needs to make a great first impression.
Another benefit of hiring one of our cameras is the colour depth allows for very clean keys to be pulled. Shooting 4k in 4:2:2 10 bit at 150 MBps in LongGOP.
The hire options include:
- Panasonic GH5
- Canon C300
- Sony FX9
We can provide you with an LED Lighting Kit
Lighting is one of the most important factors to consider when it comes to producing high-quality video content. The right lighting can make all the difference in the final product. Hiring an LED lighting kit can help ensure that your video content looks professional and polished.
One of the key benefits of hiring an LED lighting kit is the ability to create a variety of lighting effects. LED lights can be adjusted to create warm or cool lighting, depending on the mood and tone you are trying to achieve. This level of control allows for greater flexibility when it comes to creating different lighting setups.
Another benefit of LED lighting is the energy efficiency. LED lights use less energy than traditional lighting, which means the studio does not get so hot, and your on-camera talent won’t start to sweat and develop silvery highlights in their skin tones.
We can provide a variety of lighting modifiers for our range of continuous LED lights, as they use the same Bowens mount fitting as do our flash photography lights. You can use big octoboxes, narrow strip boxes, small parabolic boxes, medium rectangle boxes- and of course just a dish with barndoors if you prefer.
The hire options include:
- Aputure Nova
- Aster Titan
- GVM & Godox
We can provide you with Audio Equipment, Including a boom or lapel Microphone
Audio quality is another critical factor to consider when it comes to producing high-quality video content. Poor audio quality can ruin an otherwise great video. Hiring audio equipment, including a lapel microphone for example, can help ensure that your audio is clear and crisp.
Lapel microphones are designed to capture audio from a nearfield source, such as a person’s voice, while reducing background noise. Used in tandem with a boom mic, this can allow you to balance the environment and the voice deliver in your edit, to suit your preference.
We can provide you with a Green Screen
A green screen is a ‘key’ tool (Boom Boom!) in video production, as it allows for the creation of a variety of backgrounds and settings.
We can offer two different sizes of green screen studio setup- a small one (9 ft wide) that is perfect for single camera setup featuring 1 or 2 people on screen talking to camera.

If you need something a bit bigger, or would like to use 2 or 3 cameras for your production, then we can dress the cyclorama with a greenscreen, and this gives you a corner to shoot into if you want to incorporate another camera angle.

Obviously the lighting requirements increase the greater the meterage of greenscreen that needs lighting. For the small setup, we recommend:

- 200W Godox SL200W Mk 2
- 150W Godox SL150W Mk 2
- 120W Aputure LS 120D Mk 2
- 60W Aputure LS 60D
For the larger setup we recommend:
- 100W Aputure Nova P300C Kit (2)
- 300W Aputure 300D €105
- 300W GVM SD300S €80
- 200W Godox SL200W Mk 2 €80
- 150W Godox SL150W Mk 2 €80
- 120W Aputure LS 120D Mk 2 €80
- 60W Aputure LS 60D €80
While we have a curated range of affordable lighting equipment for hire, if you need something beefier, then our hire partners can provide them. We recommend camerakit.ie which is only 1.5 miles from the studio, and they can deliver and collect to the studio. An alternative supplier is Teach Solais who would have a greater range of rigging and film equipment hire.
Depending on your level of experience, and the time constraints your are operating under, we can arrange to setup and pre-light the greenscreen ahead of your arrival. This allows you to start capturing content a lot earlier, and maximises your booking slot.
